Our Story – The Beginning of Peak Saunas

 

It all started with family.

 

A few years ago, we were searching for something deeper, not just another health trend or gadget, but a real, lasting way to look after ourselves. Like many Kiwis, we were juggling a full life: work, parenting, training, the odd injury, and trying to stay grounded through it all. We wanted something that helped us reset. Something that helped us feel better, not just physically, but mentally.

 

That’s when we discovered the sauna.

 

What started as curiosity quickly became a ritual. We began saunering after long days, early mornings, tough workouts, or when we just needed to slow down. It wasn’t about luxury. It was about presence. Conversations happened in the quiet. Our bodies felt stronger. We slept better. We recovered faster. We connected more. It changed our lives.

 

But something else happened too: we realised how hard it was to find a sauna in New Zealand that actually met our needs, something beautiful, reliable, built to last, and designed for real people, real spaces, and real wellness.

 

That’s when Peak Saunas was born.

 

We’re a New Zealand family business driven by the belief that wellness should be simple, accessible, and deeply effective. We don’t do mass-produced or “just get hot” saunas. We specialise in premium, purpose-built saunas that blend form and function, helping Kiwis create spaces of restoration, recovery, and connection at home.
